Foodie Pen Pal Reveal

I'm a few days behind on this, but here is my foodie pen pal reveal!

My Foodie Pen Pal was Alexandra. She emailed me and asked me a few of my favorite foods. I told her that my favorite food was pineapple and peanut butter.  She sent me a couple of peanut butter flavored Lara Bars. Dried Pineapple Rings form Trader Joes (these were my favorite!!!), a tropical trail mix, some pink straws, a few recipes for smoothies/protein shakes (they are yummy!), and she also included a Kid's Clif Bar and a bow that she made for my daughter! I loved the fact that she included things for my daughter! That was SO sweet!

Not Happy!

Uh. Busy weekend. My mom came into town from Oklahoma yesterday. She came because my brother's girlfriends' mom is in town from Massachusetts. My mom said that she ought to come meet her now, so she doesn't have to meet her the day before their wedding. She met my MIL the day before our wedding, and Paul and I were together 5 years before we got married, lol!

So we were all going to go to dinner together. My brother called and said to meet at Red Robin at 630p. I was not happy about the restaurant choice and immediately started looking up nutritional information. After I looked at everything I had decided that I was going to either get the Crispy Fish Burger (around 560 calories) or a cup of chicken tortilla soup (around 170 calories) and have some french fries also. I really didn't want the soup, so I had kind of decided on the fish burger. When we got there I couldn't find the fish burger on the menu and started freaking out. I almost caved and got what I would usually get, The Bonsai Burger (around 1100 calories). I was saying "Well, what if I only eat half of it?" They came to take the order and I still hadn't decided and last minute decided to get the soup. I was not happy with the decision. When it came out, it was literally a cup of soup. It was good, which I was happy about, but it was gone in about 3 minutes. Then I ate probably about 10-20 french fries. Paul stopped eating when he had about 1/4 of his burger (1200 calories) and I ate some of it (the bottom part of the bread and the beef patty). My brothers girlfriend and her mom got these HUGE salads and I looked them up and they were 1400 calories!!!!!! I left feeling pretty shitty, but it could've been a lot worse! I was so glad to leave though. It is so loud in that place and then there was my daughter, who is usually well behaved, but my little siblings (4, 6, and 7) were there, so she was going crazy like they were.

Not Into It

Wednesday I weighed in at 226.2! I lost 2.2 pounds again this week! I am SO close to my next goal. I have 1.2 pounds to go until I reach it! Hopefully next week!

At the WW meeting, an older lady saw me and came across the room to tell me that I was looking really good! It made me so happy! And yesterday at work, Bekki told me that I looked so skinny. I told her "Not skinny, just less fat!" but I will eventually get to skinny!

Kim and I ran on Wednesday morning again. We did 5 minute walk, 90 second jog, 90 second walk, 3 minute jog, 3 minute walk x2. 3 minutes was SO much harder than 2.5! I don't know why, cause it's only 30 seconds more! Ahh! We do that same interval again tomorrow morning for group run, then it increased a lot on Monday.

I did cross training yesterday. It sucked. I was not into it. I had a horrible day. I forgot my lunch, so I  had to eat some standby soup. It wasn't bad, just not what I was hoping for. Then I didn't have any snacks so I ate a bunch of candy. Then I came home and ate dinner before I went to the Y. I didn't do a lot of my strength training because it was stuff I haven't done before and I couldn't find a good replacement. So I did like 4 strength training exercises. For my cardio, I picked the recumbent bike, which was a big mistake. I kind of just wanted to sit and look at Facebook on my phone the whole time, but I picked one of the fitness programs and it was really hard. It felt like I was pedaling through mud! Then when I was done, it said that I only burned like 74 calories! It was disappointing.

I woke up feeling good that today was a new day. I had a spinach smoothie for breakfast. I had a clementine, banana, and vitatop for my morning snacks. For lunch I had a small portion of last nights "buttered" noodles and half a PB &J. And I had a WW ice cream bar. For dinner we are having burgers.

We were slow at work this afternoon, so I took the afternoon off. I'm planning on going to the Y before I have to go get Elliott from her babysitter. I really need to do some dishes and laundry and stuff too, but all I feel like doing is laying around...

I meet with  my personal trainer tomorrow again. I'm not really sure what we are going to do, but we'll see...
